Mission
The mission of the Loveland, Ohio Rat Race is to increase awareness and raise funds for CancerFree KIDS, Pamela Joy Ripp Foundation and Girls on the Run of Greater Cincinnati. This is an event the whole family can enjoy while raising funds to benefit great causes. It offers a fun, inspiring, and supportive environment for all participants.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to CancerFree KIDS (CFK), The Pamela Joy Ripp Foundation and Girls on the Run of Greater Cincinnati (GOTR).

CancerFree KIDS

CancerFree KIDS:
Founded locally by Ellen and Sam Flannery (Loveland, OH) CancerFree KIDS (CFK) is a new breed of non-profit organization, bringing the donor closer to the end result: funding life-saving childhood cancer research that might otherwise go unfunded.

CancerFree KIDS is dedicated to saving every precious child’s life. Research on childhood cancers gives insight into all kinds of cancers and often has important applicability to adult cancers. However, the research on childhood cancers is extremely under-funded as compared to adult cancers. This is where CFK makes a difference. CFK forms alliances with researchers, funding promising projects and following results.

CancerFree KIDS . . . working together until every kid is cancer-free!

Pamela Joy Ripp Foundation

The Pamela Joy Ripp Foundation celebrates and honors all Loveland moms by awarding "I Love My Loveland Mom" academic scholarships to Loveland High School seniors. The application process requires students to write heartfelt essays expounding the reasons why they love and appreciate their Mom.

The Pamela Joy Ripp Foundation was founded to honor the memory of Pam, who fought gallantly against ovarian and breast cancer and never let her diagnosis define her life. The foundation strives to perpetuate Pam’s lifelong example of compassionate giving and her adoration for the Loveland community.

Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run of Greater Cincinnati (GOTR) has a mission to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. GOTR envisions a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. GOTR of Great Cincinnati started with 12 girls in 2005 and has expanded to reach over 2,200 girls each year at schools, churches, and community centers in the Greater Cincinnati region.
